It’s Tuesday again, and you know what that means! Dine in at The Greek Larder this evening and enjoy all of our wines at takeaway prices.
Theodore’s recommendation of the week:
Sitia – 1999 V.Q.P.R.D. by Oikonomou Winery, Crete
This red has an intense nose, blackberry aromas, nice supple tannins & a long lasting aftertaste. Theodore describes this as a “medium body, and great with our new dish – Rabbit stifado” (that’s Greek stew to you and me!). The rabbit is slightly smoked on the bone – giving it a great amount of flavour – and cooked with baby onions, cinnamon, cumin, cardamom & grape molasses.
This bottle would usually be £100, however enjoy for £52.50 every Tuesday. What a STEAL!
