The delicatessen shelves at The Greek Larder are full to the brim with goodies! Odysea’s ‘Tomato Perasti’ is produced on the Gousiaris family farm in central Greece, using tomatoes grown from Heirloom seeds (without the use of chemicals!)
The tomatoes are carefully selected for ripeness & then harvested by hand, creating what Odysea describe as “a wonderful ‘old-fashioned’ tomato flavour”. Theodore recommends to use this sauce with pasta, as a pizza topping, in baked okra, tomato soup, aubergine casserole or with meatballs! That is an endless list of possibilities….
