All day every Tuesday you can dine in at The Greek Larder whilst enjoying our wine at takeaway prices, making each drop taste even better. We have an extensive list of wines from crisp whites to rich, full bodied reds and everything in between.
There are a spectrum of grape varieties that are grown and used to produce wines in Greece. Today we are looking at Roditis, a rosé coloured grape that is very popular in Attica, Macedonia, Thessaly and Peloponnese. It produces the best results when cultivated in low yields on mountainous slopes. The wines created from Roditis are elegant, light white wines with citrus flavours and a lovely aftertaste of which we have several on our menu. These include a Curvee Prestige 2014 by Skouras Winery with a crisp, aromatic flavour, and a Paranga 2014 by Kyr Yiannis with delicate aromas and lighter alcohol content, which can both be bought tomorrow for the special price of only £10 (usually £24 and £26 respectively!).
Come by for a bite and a glass or two!
