Ktima Parparoussis

The next wine in our wine feature is Ktima Parparoussis, which will be provided by Cava Spiliadis.

The Ktima Parparoussis is made from 100% Agiorgitiko, the most commonly grown red grape variety in Greece. In Santorini, they are grown on 20 year old vines on rich red clay. Once picked, the grapes undergo a long maceration and then are aged for 24 months in French oak.

This wine has a jammy aroma of figs, cassis, tobacco and dried cherries. It has brown sugar, raisin and olive palate, with a smooth and velvety finish. In only a few days, you can try it for yourself at the London Greek Wine Festival – don’t forget to buy your ticket here!
