‘Clean Monday’ is the first day of Lent in the Eastern Orthodox Church & refers to leaving behind sinful attitudes & non-fasting foods.
Celebrated with the consumption of fish, vegetarian meze & ‘Lagana’ – a type of flatbread only baked on this day. We’ve got a mixed platter of squid fritto, grilled octopus, salt cod, mussels & crevette for £32, & you can also add our freshly made Lagana bread, or black eyed bean salad.
If you’ve still got room, follow with our ‘Halva’ – a traditional Greek semolina dessert. Flying kites is also tradition….so get practising!
Book a table with us on Monday 27th February and join in the celebration!
